Dangerous Recipe! None Adds Value.
Bitter Cycle.
Bitterness is resentment. It is disappointment at being treated unfairly. What benefit does it bring into our lives? None at all! On the contrary, bitterness leads to anger.
Anger is a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility. What benefit does it bring into our lives? None at all! On the contrary, anger leads to hatred.
‘Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.’ – Ephesians 4:31-32.
Hatred is an extremely strong feeling of dislike or ill will. What benefit does it bring into our lives? None at all! On the contrary, hatred leads to conflict.
‘Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all transgressions.’ – Proverbs 10:12.
Conflict is serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one. What benefit does it bring into our relationships? None at all! On the contrary, conflict leads to darkness.
‘Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord.’ – Romans 12:17-19.
Darkness is wickedness or evil. What benefit does it bring into our lives? None at all! On the contrary, darkness leads to death.
‘But you are a chosen race, A royal priesthood, A holy nation, A people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;’ – 1 Peter 2:9.
Death is the total and permanent cessation of all the vital functions of an organism. What benefit does it bring into our lives? None at all! On the contrary, death is the end of life.
‘Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured.‘ – 1 Corinthians 13:4-5.
On a Lighter Note: This is the only recipe that does not lead to obesity when taken in excess, mainly because the organism dies instead.

Love this! A good reminder…though some may not have the same belief or faith that we have, we can still show God’s love and be like Christ toward others.
