Happy Mother’s Day

God’s Finalists!

From Left To Right: Bella Obure, Eunice Obure, Jedidah Obure (Mommy) and AnneObure.

Bella: You came into this world two years after I did but overtook me in the motherhood field. I speak God’s blessings over your princess and princes, always giving thanks to God for their existence. Seek God for guidance and direction for each of them, that they may fulfill God’s call over their lives. Happy Mother’s Day Kid Sis.

Eunice: You mothered me even before you were old enough to bring forth your own. I swore to thoroughly beat your children as payback for the pinches and punches I received when Dad and Mom left me in your care. You now have one gorgeous queen, a little adorable princess and the most handsome prince I’ve ever seen. God has smiled on you. He handpicked you for these bundles of joy and can therefore trust you with their lives. Always inquire from Him before making decisions pertaining to them for He never disappoints. Happy Mother’s Day Big Sis.

Mommy: You nurtured me, trained me, took me to school but one thing I’m forever grateful for is the fact that you and Dad introduced God the Father to me. You have been there for us in many ways. You are still there for me in an unspeakable measure. You are not perfect for sure, but the greatest we know. My prayer is that you shall always prosper in everything that you set to do and live to see your children’s, children’s children. May the Lord always be your motivation. Happy Mother’s Day Dear Mom.

Chichi Obure (Pictured Above): I prophesy over you lots and lots of children, a number equivalent to your heart’s desire. You shall be ready for them when they come and God will download to you their destinies in advance. Thank you for your vote of confidence to us in regards to motherhood. The same is your portion in Jesus Name. I could not leave you out on this day dear Patricia; my look-a-like. You are blessed and highly favored. Happy Mother’s Day Smallest Sis.

Prayer Corner: Lord I present each and every one of these ladies to You this morning: in thanksgiving for what You are doing in their lives (and mine too). I lack words that can fully describe how grateful I am for them. Reveal Yourself more and more to us as we seek Your face. Our children are blessed (including those we’re yet to conceive that you already know). We celebrate You as the Maker of Mothers this day, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Love’s Pursuit

The Greatest Pursuit.
Creation Reflecting The Creator.
Nature is one of God’s beautiful creations. Through nature, God is able to teach us, speak to us, and provide for us. In many ways has He made Himself known to man.

‘For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.’ Romans 1:20 (NLT).

Take a look at everything around you. Begin with the birds and examine their flight. Go to the fish and marvel at their existence. Proceed to the ecosystem and try figuring it out. Conclude with your precious life. He knew you even before you were conceived. That’s why He pursues you; to guide you on how to go about occupying this amazing earth.

Just ask the animals, and they will teach you. Ask the birds of the sky, and they will tell you. Speak to the earth, and it will instruct you. Let the fish in the sea speak to you.…. For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being.’ – Job 12:7-10 (NLT).

It’s amazing to learn that amidst all these glorious and magnificent creations of God, you and I form the center of His Love. You are the apple of His eye.

‘For thus says the LORD of hosts, “After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.’ – Zechariah 2:8.

Prayer Corner: Lord, thank You for loving us as You do, that You did not wait for us to draw nigh to You, but You showed Yourself in frail humanity; that You did not wait for us to cry out to You, but You Let us hear Your voice calling us. (Forever Grateful – Song By Juanita Bynum).

Thank You for stepping down, that we may step up,

Thank You for laying down, that we may be raised up;

Thank You for coming down, that we may climb up,

Thank you for pursuing Your own, that we may look up.

Hydro Power Plants

Supernatural Discoveries.

Let’s look into the various components:

  1. Dam – this is the most important component of hydroelectric power plant. The dam is built on a large river that has abundant quantity of water throughout the year. It should be built at a location where the height of the river is sufficient to get the maximum possible potential energy from water.
  2. Water Reservoir – This is the place behind the dam where water is stored. The water in the reservoir is located higher than the rest of the dam structure. The higher the height of water, the more its potential energy. The high position of water in the reservoir also enables it to move downwards effortlessly. This also helps to increase the overall potential energy of water, which helps ultimately produce more electricity in the power generation unit.
  3. Intake or Control Gates – These are the gates built on the inside of the dam. The water from reservoir is released and controlled through these gates. These are called inlet gates because water enters the power generation unit through these gates.
  4. The Penstock – this is the long pipe or the shaft that carries the water flowing from the reservoir towards the power generation unit, comprised of the turbines and generator.
  5. Water Turbines – When water falls on the blades of the turbine the kinetic and potential energy of water is converted into the rotational motion of the blades of the turbine. The rotating blades causes the shaft of the turbine to also rotate.
  6. Generators – Here is where the electricity is produced. The shaft of the water turbine rotates in the generator, which produces alternating current in the coils of the generator. It is the rotation of the shaft inside the generator that produces magnetic field which is converted into electricity by electromagnetic field induction. Thus in hydroelectricity power plants potential energy of water is converted into electricity. Info courtesy of Brighthub Engineering

Hydroelectric Dam

This is exactly what happens when we pray using a heavenly language.

  • The Dam is the Spirit of God in us. He is all knowing and comes into our spirit to enrich our reservoir.
  • The reservoir is the total amount of knowledge we have regarding God and His purposes in our lives. This is formed when we read the Word of God and listen to His teachings. The more knowledge we have from God, the easier it is to receive from His Spirit.
  • The control gates are our mouths. The moment we open our mouths in supernatural prayer, we allow the Spirit of God to speak mysteries through us. These discoveries enter the generator through the control gate and cause an edification process.
  • The penstock is the length of time we dedicate in prayer using the heavenly language. The longer the session, the more the generation of heavenly mysteries.
  • The Turbines are our tongues. As we open the gates and allow our tongues to move in faith, the Spirit of God takes control and is able to physically download the heavenly solutions to earthly problems.
  • Finally, the generator is our brain. The tongue’s rotation causes the transmission of spiritual messages to the brain, allowing the brain to give instructions to the various body parts on what is expected for the pending need. These instructions are accurate electric currents that have been directly released from heaven, thus the results are always victorious.

The outcome of this activity (praying in God’s language) is miracles, healing, restoration, empowerment, and every good thing that the Lord has kept for us. This is what we mean by heaven on earth.

Benefits of Praying in the Language of Heaven:

  • It activates the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation.
  • It empowers you for your calling.
  • It Causes Healing of your brain and mind.
  • It prays out your fears, anxiety and traumas.
  • It enables you to tap into the treasures within you.
  • It’s God’s language, thus you are able to talk to Him directly and accurately.

‘But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Spirit.’Jude 20.

On A Lighter Note: There are many reasons why my life still has some form of darkness: could it be that my reservoir level (knowledge of God) needs to be raised? Could it be that the length of time spent in prayer (penstock) ain’t long enough? Could it be that my gate (mouth) is shut or my turbine (tongue) is rusty thus causing no transmission to the generator (brain)? In one thing am I confident: That the source of the Dam will never run dry.

I Lost My Mind

I Lost Control. Deeply ImmersedThe Best Option.

It all began with a whisper. A still small voice that kept nudging me to come closer. The more I ignored this voice, the more the voice faded. The more I listened, the louder the voice became and clearer my circumstances. I decided to take a risk and listen. That’s when it all began.
‘And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.’ 1 Kings 19:12.
I named the voice Mr. Know-It-All. Why? you ask. Because he was always so confident that what He had to say was worth listening to. Sometimes He’d invade my thoughts and suggest a parallel. Such times I’d shake Him off since I was still in control, and furthermore, His ideas were outrageous. He never gave up.
‘The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord, over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon.’ – Psalm 29:3-5.
I decided to do a simple analysis: write down the results of the decisions I made before Mr. Know-It-All checked in and those that He convinced me to make and I took a risk. I was blown away!
  • My mind told me that I’ve got to behave a certain way so as to fit in but Mr. Know-It-All told me that my uniqueness compliments my fitness.
  • My mind told me I’m not good enough for certain positions and cliques but Mr. Know-It-All told me I’m incomparable and qualified to be anything I wanna be.
  • My mind told me I’m alone in this walk and I tired but Mr. Know-It-All told me He’s with me and will never leave; to will and to do, and thereafter, renew my strength.
  • My mind made me accumulate wealth in this temporary chapter but Mr. Know-It-All gave me a glimpse of eternity and is still in the process of teaching me how to acquire eternal treasures.
  • My mind fought this voice during the day when it was busy but Mr. Know-It-All still found time to talk to me by invading my dreams the moment I lay down.
  • My mind told me I was limited to what I’ve seen and what I’ve heard over the years but Mr. Know-It-All negated this by showing me that I can do all things in Him.
Luke_18-27
King James Bible Online
With time, I put my guards down and allowed Mr. Know-It-All to take control. He began downloading stuff into my spirit: answers to past predicaments, guidance for present plans and even secrets to future victories. My mind was still in the picture, but compared to His knowledge, I literally felt like a drop of water in the ocean.
And that is how AnneObure lost her mind; in the safest place one could ever imagine.
On A Lighter Note: Sometimes my mind tries to swim downstream when Mr. Know-It-All says upstream and thoroughly drowns in the process. Thank God for His mercies. He envelopes me with His Love and sets me back on course.

Toxic Ingredients That Kill

Dangerous Recipe! None Adds Value.
Bitter Cycle.

Bitterness is resentment. It is disappointment at being treated unfairly. What benefit does it bring into our lives? None at all! On the contrary, bitterness leads to anger.

Anger is a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility. What benefit does it bring into our lives? None at all! On the contrary, anger leads to hatred.

‘Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.’ – Ephesians 4:31-32.

Hatred is an extremely strong feeling of dislike or ill will. What benefit does it bring into our lives? None at all! On the contrary, hatred leads to conflict.

‘Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all transgressions.’ Proverbs 10:12.

Conflict is serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one. What benefit does it bring into our relationships? None at all! On the contrary, conflict leads to darkness.

‘Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord.’Romans 12:17-19.

Darkness is wickedness or evil. What benefit does it bring into our lives? None at all! On the contrary, darkness leads to death.

‘But you are a chosen race, A royal priesthood, A holy nation, A people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;’ – 1 Peter 2:9.

Death is the total and permanent cessation of all the vital functions of an organism. What benefit does it bring into our lives? None at all! On the contrary, death is the end of life.

Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured.‘ – 1 Corinthians 13:4-5.

On a Lighter Note: This is the only recipe that does not lead to obesity when taken in excess, mainly because the organism dies instead.

Push! I Can See The Head!

Expectation

This is how it all started. You had this great idea that came to you like a mere thought. Do you know that this thought was influenced by what you were reading, watching, experiencing? This thought was a seed planted into your system. This was the conception stage.

‘And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.’ – Genesis 1:24.

Slowly by slowly, you began to research on this new thing. You were so excited. 100% of your time was spent online, reading testimonials of those who have successfully embarked on it. All of a sudden, the idea took control over you. Remember this was a strange entrant into your normal day-to-day activities. It came with it’s demands (cravings) and began to alter your routine. This was the first trimester.

After a while, you and the idea got used to each other. Although you had to adjust your system (new eating habits, bigger clothes, etc.), The idea now seemed tangible. Others began to see it in you, you too got used to your new image and comfortably readjusted. You even stopped researching further; kinda like felt as though you have become a guru. You knew what time to wake up, when to eat what, and who to avoid (Hahaha. mothers know exactly what I’m talking about). You even wanted to write a book on it. This was the second trimester.

‘Be positive, cheerful, grateful and expectant’ – Earl Nightingale.

All of a sudden things began to escalate at an alarming rate. Nothing could fit any more. No room for food. Your emotions began to lack direction. You laughed when it was time to cry and wailed when you were happy. You became impatient. You began to wonder what this great idea looked like, whether it actually existed, when it would materialize and so on. This was the third trimester.

‘Hope is favorable and confident expectation; it’s an expectant attitude that something good is going to happen and things will work out, no matter what situation we are facing.’ – Joyce Meyer.

Here you are now. It is time to deliver. Your nesting instincts are on point. Everything required for the great idea to take shape is already here. The different stages pushed you to prepare for this moment. The great idea is fully grown. It will push itself out very soon. The world needs it. You were created to reproduce ideas that will make this world a better place. This is the time to remember everything you have learnt regarding this great idea.

‘He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come and NEST IN ITS BRANCHES.” – Matthew 13:31-32.

Hold on to every Word. Spare every ounce of energy you have left for the coming birth. Surround yourself with people who will encourage you rather than those who’ll instill fear. What lies ahead ain’t easy. The delivery part is just the beginning. You will need to nurture this great idea until it is mature enough to be on its own.

I am talking about your dreams, your talents, your desires, your ideas, anything you have ever wanted to be and to do. It is time to proceed to the delivery room. Believe in yourself. You can do this!

On a Lighter Note: This pic was taken a day before my son was born. You and I must agree that that smile is fake. I was soooo scared. Now I know better.
