Game Shot!

Via Spike.

My dad used to love darts with a passion! He’d take us with him to the canteen where there’d be tournaments and most of the times he used to win. I never got to learn the rules of the game, but I loved it when the referee would shout, ‘Game Shot!’ right after dad has thrown a missile. He’d run to us and throw us in the air with so much excitement!

In like manner, when our Heavenly Father spikes you with His glory, there’s a sharp increase in the magnitude of your ability to fulfill your Kingdom assignment. You are able to walk in His will without having to guess.

  • Luke 4 18The poor are delivered!
  • Everything you do is spot on!
  • The brokenhearted are healed!
  • The captives are delivered!
  • The blind begin to see!

Draw near to God and learn the rules of the game. There is a missile called the Word of God (Jesus Christ) and a Referee called the Holy Spirit. The board stands for this world. This missile needs to be as sharp as possible so that it can penetrate the board, rather than fall on the ground. At the same time, the referee will let you know when the time is right for you to throw.

Sharpen the arrows, fill the quivers! The LORD has aroused the spirit of the kings of the Medes, Because His purpose is against Babylon to destroy it; For it is the vengeance of the LORD, vengeance for His temple. – Jeremiah 51:11

Now go ahead and take a step of faith and throw your missiles! I hope I have demystified this wonderful journey we are in. Enjoy every assignment the Lord has for you because the end of it is already known: ‘Game Shot!’ He will pick you up and flood you with blessings and you will receive your reward – 1 Cor 3:8

Come Up Higher

Via Climbing!

As a child, I heard about God;

In my youth, I was taught His ways.

In my pride, I ran away from God;

In my doom, I see His Face.

And I begin to rise with Him;

From Glory to Glory.

A change occurs within;

I sing Holy! Holy!

He’s beckoning you

To draw closer

He’s challenging you

To surrender

Taking the first step

He will do the rest

Climbing up for help

He will be your nest

Hell Fire

Via Fry!

As the Spirit of the Lord leads us to repentance, sometimes He uses the harsh reality of damnation so as to soften our hardened hearts. He doesn’t do this to scare us back to The Way Of Life Everlasting but rather to salvage us from eternal death that was not designed for man. This bottomless pit is real guys. Even the fallen angels don’t wanna be sent there.

Things shall fry, and not die
Things shall fry, I not lie
Things shall fry, my heart cries
Things shall fry, the time’s nigh

Turn away from these things that are not of God while Grace still abounds. Place them at the foot of the Cross: our cusp. Divine exchange will begin to happen:

He’ll give beauty for ashes
He’ll give strength for fear
He’ll give gladness for mourning
He’ll give peace for despair

I have had a taste of heaven and it has changed my life forever. I not only look forward to spending eternity beholding God’s Beauty and Splendor, but I also look forward to sharing this paradise with you. My hearts desire is that when the Spirit of the Lord leads you to repentance, you shall yield to Him.

This is my message to all who have tasted the goodness of the Lord but have become callous. The Angel of Revival is coming with judgment on her wings. Only two things will happen: The good will begin to fly (soar in the things of God with no struggle, life to all areas of death) and the bad will begin to fry (flesh will eat itself up, death in all areas of life)

“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster.”  – Deuteronomy 30:15

A Choking Reality

Via Cranky.

I have worn these clothes for years on end. The body has increased while the fabric has decreased (due to washing) thus giving a cranky effect.

  • Why don’t I do myself justice and give them away?
  • Then I’ll create room in my closet for the new ones I desire.

I’m fond of eating too much just before getting into bed. My body huffs and puffs, trying to rest while I sleep and at the same time, digest this food. The reason I wake up cranky is because morning comes when both activities are not complete.

  • Why don’t I do myself justice and reduce my portions?
  • Then I’ll have loose change to give to the hungry.

Did I just forget to comb my hair, brush my teeth and iron my clothes? Could it be due to the fact that I’ve accumulated too much knowledge and pushed the basics to some dark corner at the back of my mind? Am I getting cranked up?

  • Why don’t I do myself justice and begin to share what I’ve learnt?
  • Then I’ll be able to think straight.

God has been speaking to me ever since I met Him; about anything and everything. Recently, His voice has become more audible to my ears and His presence even more real in my spirit. I humbly asked Him, ‘Why me Lord?’ And this was His response:

  • ‘You did yourself justice by vomiting all the excess stuff that was choking you and woke up to My reality: …..It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35)’

Conclusion: Let me do myself justice by passing this revelation on to you, lest you miss out on the most important things in life. Before you go, listen to the song below. I’m sure it will get rid of any cranky feeling you have.

Unspeakable Joy

Via: Chuckle-Filled Day

Chuckle

  • I wake up in the morning, actually The Spirit of The Lord wakes me up, and fills the room with so much joy, puts a song in my spirit and keeps me locked in for a while. I get carried away and almost wake my child. I chuckle!
  • As I lazily decide to catch another wink, I receive a message from Nations Arise Revival Ministries:  Rejoicing In Our Tribulations. I chuckle!
  • My day begins with an 8 o’clock Skype meeting with my supervisor, whom I have never met (remember I work from home), and I get to learn that we went to the same primary school: thirteen years apart! I chuckle!
  • A friend was having a bad day yesterday and I tried all I could to lift his spirits, but he went to bed quite low. I made a simple prayer to God, that He, in His own loving way, may visit the man in his dream. I receive a text from him in the morning that there was a lady in his dream who asked him what he wanted. He asks this lady (I am convinced she’s an angel) for paradise, his parent’s blessings and God’s blessings and mercy wherever he goes in this world. God, let’s chuckle!
  • The Spirit of The Lord leads me to pray for Kenya, and I’m tempted to take my phone and text a friend at the battle front who has been offline for many days, but after overcoming the temptation, spending time in God’s presence, I hear my phone vibrate and Alas! My friend is online, carrying good news of victory. I cry for joy, and I chuckle!
  • I bump into Eddie James’ songs, listen to almost all of them, and decide to send Bilha one called I Need You just for her to inform me that, of all his songs, this happens to be her favorite. Who would have guessed! I chuckle!
  • Some urgent payment was to be done yesterday morning. I get carried away with work, and the moment it dawns on me that it was 3 pm, I pick up my phone to make a call before the banks close, and a text comes in, ‘The deposit was done in the morning, kindly follow up with the accountant’. Isn’t that a good reason to chuckle?
  • The Daily Post suggests ‘chuckle’ as today’s prompt. I’m chuckling!

Today I have indeed followed the steps that God had already ordered for me. May this be so for all of us all the days of our lives. Have a chuckle-filled day!

How Great is Your Love

Song by: Mark Altrogge

No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
No mind has ever conceived
The glorious things that You have prepared
For everyone who has believed
You brought us near and You called us Your own
And made us joint heirs with Your Son.

Chorus:
How high and how wide,
How deep and how long,
How sweet and how strong is Your love.
How lavish Your grace,
How faithful Your ways,
How great is Your love, oh Lord.

Objects of mercy who should have known wrath
We’re filled with unspeakable joy.
Riches of wisdom, unsearchable wealth,
And the wonder of knowing Your voice.
You are our treasure and our great reward,
Our hope and our glorious King.

From Opaque To Awake

If Light does not penetrate, how will we see?
If we are thick – headed, how will we be able to understand?
If we are not transparent, how will others learn from us?
If we are opaque, how will our Maker reach us?

I am awake, watching and waiting
I am awake, searching the Word
I am awake, interceding for the Lost
I am awake, communing with my Maker

Wake up! Open your eyes.
Wake up! Clear your mind.
Wake up! Receive the Light.
Wake up! Your Maker beckons.

Opacity kills! Light gives life!
