(In Memory of The Late Mr. G. O. Ochoro – Daddy)
‘Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.’ – Hebrews 12:1.
I came to the precious land of my forefathers,
I came just to love on others;
I came to the pleasant memories of my late father,
I came just to honor my Heavenly Father.

I saw food, friends and family.

I saw peace, prosperity and power.
I saw abundance, acceptance and allowance.
I saw love and length of life.

I conquered greed, grudge and grumpiness.
I conquered pity, poverty and powerlessness.
I conquered death, denial and dumbness.
I conquered lies and linear ties.

I came, I saw and I conquered;
My roots, my rite of passage.
On a Lighter Note: Today heaven must have given dad a front seat as he watched me relive his precious memories at Jusa Estate!
