Get Out!

Knackered Box!

The city is knackered – every thinkable business already exists, all vacancies filled. Get out of the city and empower the small counties and towns by sharing your great ideas and expertise.

The church buildings are knackered – those in service are burned out while those in need go in and leave the same way they came. Get out of the four walls and be the church of God everywhere you go, by sharing the Love He has put in you.

‘And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’ – Mark 16:15.

The government is knackered – our leaders are not efficiently performing their duties due to one reason or the other. Get out of the blame game and play your part by first and foremost covering them in prayer, and thereafter obeying the law of the land.

‘Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God…..’Romans 13:1-7.

We are knackered – no longer having the zeal we had when we first encountered God. Get out of familiar grounds and affordable targets. Our purpose in life is much greater than our physical ability. God is calling us deeper. We cannot hear His voice where we are because He has gone before us. Do you remember the last assignment He gave you? Begin from the known to the unknown.

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction,faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.’ – Romans 12:11-13.

Get out of your worry and into your calling.

  • There we shall be empowered because our assignments are bigger than us.
  • There we shall exercise our talents as well as the gifts He’ll add unto us.
  • There we shall find contentment and a blessing commanded.
  • There we shall not only see the hand of God, but His face too.

There you shall reproduce,
So open your heart for His use;
There you shall multiply,
So spread your wings and fly.

Totally Sold Out!

Blanketed by Love.

Men are looking for the girl who’d twist their necks and confuse their heads. They can’t find her. She’s Totally Sold Out!

‘Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you by the gazelles and by the does of the field: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.’ – Song of Solomon 2:7.

Bars are looking for the girl who’d increase their profits by gulping in doubles. They can’t find her. She’s Totally Sold Out!

‘Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.’ – Song of Solomon 1:2.

Discos are looking for the girl who’d not break a bone while dancing all night long. They can’t find her. She’s Totally Sold Out!

‘Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.’ – Jeremiah 31:13.

The devil is looking for the girl who’d easily be swayed to the left and to the right. He can’t find her. She’s Totally Sold Out!

‘The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me.’ – Song of Solomon 5:7.

Neema is Totally Sold Out to her Groom, gulping from the River of Love, eternally dancing with the Bone Maker as He surrounds her with His glory: He’s on her left and on her right. He’s the Center of her life!

‘My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.’ – Song of Solomon 2:10.

On a Lighter Note:
She didn’t bid anyone farewell when she left;
A divine firewall was created thus no connection was felt.

I Came, I Saw, I Conquered.

Via Roots

(In Memory of The Late Mr. G. O. Ochoro – Daddy)
‘Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.’ – Hebrews 12:1.
I came to the precious land of my forefathers,
I came just to love on others;
I came to the pleasant memories of my late father,
I came just to honor my Heavenly Father.

I saw food, friends and family.

I saw peace, prosperity and power.
I saw abundance, acceptance and allowance.
I saw love and length of life.

I conquered greed, grudge and grumpiness.
I conquered pity, poverty and powerlessness.
I conquered death, denial and dumbness.
I conquered lies and linear ties.

I came, I saw and I conquered;
My roots, my rite of passage.
On a Lighter Note: Today heaven must have given dad a front seat as he watched me relive his precious memories at Jusa Estate!

The Winning Vote

Via Grey/Gray!

We are in the season of nominating those who will represent different parties in the coming elections. Campaigns have been done and now is the time to separate the wheat from the chaff. Picture this: an area with two candidates having an ordinary citizen approaching the station, picking the ballot, and ignorantly ticking both boxes!

  • This vote holds no water,
  • This vote is equated to no vote;
  • This vote is out of order,
  • This vote is a spoiled vote.

This is what happens every time we mix fear and faith. These two principles belong to opposing kingdoms. They cannot correlate. It’s always either one or the other.

  • The former brings death, while the latter, Life!
  • The former brings darkness, while the latter, Light!
  • The former has no future, while the latter’s Bright!
  • The former resembles black, while the latter, White!

Both candidates are campaigning in our lives. Both have shown us their referendum. It’s our responsibility to avidly scrutinize each, and note that there are pros and cons (all pros lie in faith while all cons in fear). Thereafter we will be able to cast an informed vote towards the principle we want to live by. Each principle activates the kingdom behind it and negates the other principle’s kingdom.

‘For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.’ – 2 Timothy 1:7

What therefore is the definition of the word(s) ‘grey/grey?’ This is a mixture of fear and Faith; a mixture of death and Life; a mixture of darkness and Light; a mixture of black and White.

‘For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.’ – Ephesians 5:8

On a lighter note: Even the word ‘grey/gray’ in itself is yet to decide whether she should be spelled using ‘e’ for fear or ‘a’ for faith. A vote of no confidence goes out from me to her.

Silence The World – Awaken The Truth

Via Zipper!

  • They taught me: necessity is the mother of invention; I have learned that simplicity is the Father of revelation. The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.’ – Psalm 119:130.
  • They taught me: God helps those who help themselves; I have learned that God lifts those who humble themselves. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.’ – James 4:10.
  • They taught me: Out of sight out of mind. I have learned to walk by faith, not by sight. ‘For we walk by faith, not by sight.’ – 2 Corinthians 5:7.
  • They taught me: Fight back when beaten up. I have learned to offer my left cheek after the right’s been slapped. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.’ – Luke 6:29.
  • They taught me: First come first served. I have learned to wait on the Lord. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.’ – Isaiah 40:31.
  • They taught me: Do It yourself. I have learned to partner with God. ‘For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure.’ – Philippians 2:13.
  • They taught me: Only babies cry. I have learned to be broken before my Lord. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.’ – Psalm 51:17.
  • They taught me: Trial and error. I have partnered with a perfect Being: failure is never. For with God nothing shall be impossible.’ – Luke 1:37.
  • They taught me: pray until something happens. I have learned to pray without ceasing. Pray without ceasing.’ – 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
  • They taught me: I’d experience bloggers block. I choose to drink from the fountain that never runs dry. ‘And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.’ – Isaiah 58:11.
  • They taught me: Many gods; one for each category of life. I have met my One and Only God; The Love of my life. ‘I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me.’ – Isaiah 45:5.
  • I am now teaching them The Way, The Truth, The Life; As I zip up the world, the dupe, the lies. ‘Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.’ – 2 Timothy 4:2.

Nature’s Little Secrets

Via Avid! Via Earth!
Ever since childhood, when I would visit my grandparents, I always found myself asking many questions, with the aim of trying to understand why things are the way they are – specifically nature. I am at their ranch visiting again and this time round, avidly examining nature; its beauty, its actions, its existence and so on. One thing has stood out: the fact that all creation is worshiping God. That is what everything was created to do.

Some through color;

Others through sounds,

Pictures I have gathered;

To help me expound.

Look at the smile on Grandma’s face. Makes me wanna melt. Lesson Learnt: Celebrate your loved ones while they are still alive. There’s a lot to learn from those who have been there longer than us.
18118667_10154516982031167_6872904952104820967_n
This is fresh from Grandpa’s farm. The little things we take for granted. Lesson Learnt: They live longer than we do because they eat healthier than we do.
18157357_10154516986321167_3704301954763649049_n
This picture gives me a worship feel. Looks as though the banana trees are bowing down in worship. Lesson Learnt: I will lift my hands in worship and bow down in adoration because He has given me the ability to do so.

This little garden is quite welcoming in front of Grandma’s porch. Lesson Learnt: Always look good.

I used to think I was tall until I met these guys. Lesson Learnt: There’s always something I can learn from another. I have not yet attained all knowledge.
18118734_10154516977941167_7768061396781579604_n
Ain’t she beautiful? She looks to me as though she’s trying to make the ‘ok’ sign with her petals even though she can see that her leaves have been eaten away. Lesson Learnt: Always remain positive, even when everyone around you is negative.
18157079_10154516985531167_4693521769530156487_n
On a lighter note, this tree resembles the one Adam and Eve were hanging out under when the serpent showed up. What do you think?
  • I now believe that the word ‘Analogy’ simply means Anna using Logic to understand how God can use anything to communicate to her.
  • I now understand why the Gospel needs to be preached to every creature: because they too were created to worship the Creator, thus should not be left behind in this Great Commission.

It’s time to show a keen interest on everything around us. There is so much to learn. God is at liberty to speak to us through anything: both living and non – living, with the aim of ensuring that we clearly understand what He is saying.

‘And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature’ – Mark 16:15

We Are Family

Harmony!

I am for Soprano. I am your Sister;
I am A for Alto. I am AnneObure.
You are for Tenor. You are my Teammate;
You are for Bass. You are my Brother.

When combined, we form chords that cannot be broken!

Together we produce a symphony;
Divided we generate unnecessary agony.
Together we release a sweet smelling fragrance;
Divided we allow the enemy to advance.

Heaven resounds our unity;
When we combine every ability.
Grab your corner and instrument;
Let’s penetrate every firmament.

Psalms 133:1 – ‘Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
